Hot Wheels is shifting gears for 2025 with a new Formula 1 collection, giving fans the chance to stage their own Grand Prix at home. Unveiled ahead of the Nuremberg International Toy Fair, the Hot Wheels lineup features 1:64 scale replicas of F1 cars and some seriously fun track sets to rev up the action.
The collection covers eight teams, with constructor champions McLaren, driver champion Max Verstappen’s Red Bull, Mercedes, Alpine, Haas, RB, Sauber and Williams making the cut. Each car is packed with details, from Pirelli-branded tyres to authentic team liveries, and both drivers are present for each team.
For collectors, there’s a premium range with metal bodies and display plinths, perfect for showing off your tiny fleet.
Hot Wheels is even planning pop-up experiences at F1 races next season so that fans can get a real-world taste of the action.
But before you start imagining recreating your favourite F1 rivalries, note that Ferrari and Aston Martin have failed to make it to the grid.
The range includes singles (£2.30 each), a five-pack (£11.50), and premium models (£10.99).
If you’re more about the action than the display, there are track sets too. The Sprint Race Circuit (£44.99) lets you battle it out with a throttle pedal booster, while the Grand Prix Circuit (£79.99) adds overtaking and a lap counter for the full F1 experience — minus the champagne spray.
Roberto Stanichi, the executive vice president of Hot Wheels, described the range as a way of “giving fans the products and experiences that bring the worlds of Hot Wheels and F1 together in a way that has never been done before, and we’re just getting started.”
